The People
Welcome to my blog, this is about ordinary people who do extra ordinary things. People who are an example through the way they live(d) their own lives. They are not perfect, but I appreciate the little good they have done and what I have learnt from them.

A hope for Girls in Kenyan slums
I just found a video from a Kenyan program "Heroes". The video is about girls in the Kenyan slums and the challenges they go through in life. One of them, Ruth, decided to change her whole life to help the others as a social worker. She declined an offer to work as a cabin crew member to focus on education and motivation of the girls in the slums. It's sad to hear about girls dropping out of school because of teenage pregnancies or because their fathers don't want to educate girls. Kudos to people like Ruth and all those girls in the slums who strive to make their lives better instead of giving up....Enjoy the video
